No two skins are the same, and neither are our treatment plans. Our providers tailor every microneedling session to your skin type, concern, and treatment area. One of the biggest factors in treatment effectiveness is depth control, and SkinPen allows us to precisely adjust it for optimal results:

Shallow depths (0.25–0.5mm): Perfect for surface-level rejuvenation, brightening, and fine lines. 

In Arizona, estheticians can only perform microneedling with a maximum depth of 0.5mm. Penetrating deeper qualifies as an "advanced procedure" and is legally restricted to doctors and registered nurses. 

Moderate depths (0.5–1.0mm): Targets textural issues like mild acne scarring and pigment irregularities.

Deeper treatments (1.0–2.5mm): Best for advanced scarring, stretch marks, and deeper rejuvenation needs.

As your provider, I will never follow a cookie-cutter protocol. Each SkinPen journey begins with a professional skin assessment to build a custom plan designed specifically for you. Many clients assume one microneedling session will solve all of their concerns and if I were a skincare fairy godmother, I would grant us all that wish. BUT most clients benefit from a series of 3-6 treatments, spaced about 4 weeks apart, with maintenance sessions thereafter to sustain collage production and skin quality!

I know that you will be glowing within a few days, but let's understand how collagen remodeling ACTUALLY works:

Phase 1 – Inflammation (Days 1–3): Micro-injuries trigger your immune system to disinfect the skin, remove debris, and increase blood flow.

Phase 2 – Proliferation (Days 4–10): New cells and collagen begin to rebuild the microchannels.

Phase 3 – Remodeling (Weeks 2–6+): Collagen continues to mature and strengthen, improving skin structure long-term.
